By constructing a production plant in France, they're not only creating a sustainable source of CanolaPRO plant-based protein but also ensuring environmental compliance.
The heart of this project lies in an advanced wastewater treatment process from our subsidiary Biothane®, which includes anaerobic and aerobic stages, resulting in biogas production. This biogas, after being upgraded to natural gas standards, is injected into the public energy network as biomethane, significantly reducing the carbon footprint.
