MBBR Pack - AnoxKaldnes™ technology is based on the biofilm process, which uses microorganisms for biological wastewater treatment.

Microorganisms grow on the surface of plastic media (carriers) in the treatment reactor. As the media moves through the reactor effluent, the microorganisms consume the organic load from the effluent for their biological activity.

The media (carriers) design ensures that a highly protected surface area is provided for biofilm development, allowing high treatment capacity in a very small volume.

MBBR Pack is available in various configurations, depending on the customer's treatment objectives for carbon and/or nitrogen.
